• Has served as Director of Admissions at a 4-year college in Michigan, Assistant Director of Admissions/Financial Aid at a community college in New York State, Coordinator of Career Planning and Placement at a 4-year college in Ohio, School Counselor at two different high schools in New York State, and Career Internship Coordinator in New York State.

• Has assisted more than 1700 students with the processes of choosing a college and applying for admission to college.

• Hundreds of students and parents have attended his college-planning seminars.


• Holds the Certified Educational Planner (CEP) credential, which is the highest credential available in the United States for professionals whose focus it is to assist families with the college admission process.

• Earned a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Psychological Services from Springfield College in Massachusetts, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York College at New Paltz.

• For his outstanding work as a school counselor, was chosen as recipient of the Excellence in Secondary School Teaching Award presented by the University of Rochester.

• Holds permanent certification in School Counseling from the New York State Education Department.

• Has visited nearly 200 college campuses.

• Participates in numerous workshops and seminars each year, to stay up-to-date in regard to issues relating to college admission.


• Member of National Association for College Admission Counseling, College Student Educators International, New York State Association for College Admission Counseling, Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling and American Institute of Certified Educational Planners.
